I’m an award-winning journalist based in Calgary, Alberta.
I’ve worked in towns big and small since arriving in the province in 2009. I’ve ridden in helicopters, small planes, gliders and the Skyhawk’s sky bus. I’ve climbed trees, driven hundred of kilometres, embarrassed myself playing pickleball and once conducted an entire interview with a bird standing on my head, all to get the story I was chasing.
In 2015 I drove across Canada, just for fun. You can read my blog chronicling the experience.
My work has won awards from such organizations as the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association, the Canadian Community Newspapers Association and the Local Media Association.
Interested in assigning me an article or three? I’d probably be delighted. My contact information is over here.
