I’m a freelance journalist based in Toronto, Ontario. I’ve just recently arrived in The Big Smoke after nine years living in four different places in Alberta, most recently calling Calgary home. I originally hail from B.C.
I’m happy to write about anything, from embarrassing myself playing pickleball to taking deep dives into municipal policies. Essentially I’ll write about anything if there’s a great story to tell.
In 2015 I drove across Canada, just for fun. You can read my blog chronicling the experience.
My work has won awards from such organizations as the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association, the Canadian Community Newspapers Association and the Local Media Association. Once I conducted an entire interview with a bird standing on my head.
Interested in assigning me an article or three? I’d probably be delighted. My contact information is over here.
